Head of Algo Development, Fixed Income

An excellent opportunity has arisen at a leading bank for a hands on Senior Director to join the bank and head up the Algo development team and be responsible for the future rapid growth of the team. This is an exciting time to join and head up the team and become integral to future growth

The bank are committed to investing heavily and building out their Algo offering globally and London is a major hub for growth. The role will work with the Front Office eFX and eRates groups in the trading business to build critical algos for electronic trading and is focussed on the development / design of the Algos'.

You will need to be strategic in approach, be hands on, and have the ability to lead projects in a Java-led environment. You will be responsible for directing, motivating, developing and managing the performance of the management team and key staff. In addition to directing and managing the delivery of large or complex application development projects. Defining strategies and client needs focused on technology development.
