The Role

As an Account Manager at Ingentive, you’ll lead strategic client relationships, drive commercial growth, and ensure successful delivery of Microsoft technology solutions, particularly across the Dynamics 365 CRM and ERP stack. You’ll act as the trusted advisor to your accounts, identifying opportunities to expand engagement and deliver tailored, AI-led transformation initiatives.

This role blends technical insight with commercial acumen, focusing on land and expand strategies to grow profitable revenue and increase Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) through Managed Services and Microsoft licensing. You’ll represent one of Microsoft’s top global partners named #2 for enterprise agentic AI transformation helping clients transition to intelligent, scalable business systems built on the “Apps + Agents + Copilot” paradigm.

Essential Expertise:

  • Proven experience in account management, preferably within Microsoft technology or IT services.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Commercially astute with experience in pricing, renewals, and contract negotiation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Dynamics is highly desirable.

Desirable Expertise:

  • Experience working with System Integrators or large enterprise clients.
  • Background in technical delivery or project management.
  • Exposure to SaaS, cloud transformation, or cybersecurity solutions.
  • A growth mindset and proactive approach to client success.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage a portfolio of strategic accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and lead upsell/cross-sell initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business goals and aligning Ingentive’s services accordingly.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure smooth project execution and issue resolution.
  • Lead client meetings, QBRs, and renewal discussions with professionalism and strategic insight.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and risks using CRM tools.
  • Support bid management, contract renewals, and pricing negotiations.

Your performance will be measured against the achievement of targets, against the objectives and responsibilities listed above, and against the following standard criteria:

Client Relationship & Satisfaction

  • Client Retention Rate : Maintain a high retention rate across managed accounts through proactive engagement and value delivery.
  • Client Satisfaction Scores : Achieve and sustain positive feedback via surveys, QBRs, and direct client interactions.
  • Escalation Handling : Timely and effective resolution of client issues, with minimal need for senior intervention.

Commercial Performance

  • Revenue Growth : Drive incremental revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and identifying new opportunities.
  • Renewal Success Rate : Ensure timely and successful contract renewals with minimal churn.
  • Pipeline Contribution : Regularly contribute qualified opportunities to the sales pipeline through consultative engagement.

Delivery & Collaboration

  • Project Success Metrics : Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure projects meet scope, timeline, and budget expectations.
  • Internal Coordination : Facilitate smooth handoffs between sales, delivery, and support teams, ensuring alignment on client goals.
  • Documentation Accuracy : Maintain up-to-date CRM records, client notes, and action logs to support transparency and continuity.

Compliance & Governance

  • Adherence to QMS : Follow Ingentive’s Quality Management System (QMS) protocols, including ISO 27001 and GDPR compliance.
  • Audit Readiness : Ensure account documentation and communications are audit-ready and compliant with internal standards.
  • Risk Identification : Proactively flag and mitigate risks related to client satisfaction, delivery, or contractual obligations.
