The Opportunity
A genuinely exciting opportunity to join a heavily backed, early-stage international technology business building a next-generation consumer platform launching across multiple regulated global markets.
This is a founding-level Platform Engineering hire where you’ll play a critical role in shaping the company’s cloud infrastructure, developer experience and release engineering capability from the ground up.
The business is already operating within a highly automated, cloud-native environment and is now looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help scale the platform as they launch internationally and onboard significant user growth.
You’ll work directly with the CTO and engineering leadership team, owning core platform infrastructure, CI/CD, mobile release pipelines and Infrastructure as Code across a modern Google Cloud environment.
This is not a support-focused DevOps role. It’s a hands-on platform engineering opportunity with broad influence across cloud architecture, automation, reliability, security and engineering standards.

What They’re Looking For
- Strong experience within Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE or Cloud Infrastructure environments
- Deep Terraform / Infrastructure as Code experience
- Strong cloud-native engineering experience (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure also considered)
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Kubernetes / container orchestration experience in production environments
- Comfortable working within highly automated engineering environments
- Strong scripting capability using Bash, Python or similar
- Someone who enjoys ownership, collaboration and helping shape engineering standards
- Experience within high-scale, regulated or realtime environments would be beneficial
