IT Asset Management Analyst - (Flexera One) - Manchester - 6 months

- 1-2 years of experience having hands on Flexera One.
- ITIL V4 foundation certified (Preferred)
- SAM certification preferred (eg, Flexera One/IAITAM/BSA Certified Software Asset Manager) - Preferred
Specific Responsibilities:
- Working experience in IT Asset Management and understanding different license models of various publishers (eg, Microsoft, Red Hat, Adobe, etc.)
- Establishing and maintaining software license compliance and licensing life cycle management for all software from purchase, receipt, installation, upgrade, removal, reallocation, and retirement.
- Creating and analysing software installation and license inventory reporting, completing software compliance assessments (internal audits), and providing support with vendor license audits; developing, implementing, monitoring, and benchmarking process/procedures for tracking Client software assets to oversee quality control throughout their life cycles
- Read and understand software license Terminologies and product Usage rights for major publishers.
- Candidate should have the ability to research software products, determine product-licensing Implications and vulnerabilities to interpret and process Vendor software license agreements.
- Experience in Managing the License Portals of different publishers like Microsoft VLSC, Microsoft 365 Administration, Adobe LWS, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.
- Having Hands on experience in the Software Asset Management Tool like Flexera One.
- Contributing to the identification of opportunities to optimize the organization's investment in its software assets.
- Establishing and driving outcomes that are measurable, sustainable, and aligned to industry best practices that enable tangible value for clients.
- Loading/validating software licensing/purchasing and uploading the license entitlement data in Flexera One Software asset management system.
- Ability to create and generate different reports from the Flexera One tool and provide recommendation and optimization strategies for risk products.
