Technical Consultant Kong - 6 - 9 onths+ - London / remote

Role

You will need strong experience handling KONG led projects and deep understanding of the APIGEE landscape.

1. Hands‐on experience on Kong Gateway
2. Design, develop, and maintain API solutions using Kong Gateway (Konnect / Enterprise)
3. Configure and manage Services, Routes, Consumers, Plugins, and Upstreams
4. Implement API security using OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, mTLS, Basic Auth, API Keys
5. Design and enforce rate limiting, throttling, and traffic control policies
6. Develop and maintain custom Kong plugins using Lua
7. Handle plugin lifecycle, versioning, and backward compatibility
8. Optional knowledge of AWS, Terraform and API Testing and Devops.
