Business Analyst - Change focus

8 Month Contract - Outside IR35

Liverpool (Hybrid, 2 - days on site)

£450 per day

We are supporting one of our key clients within the financial/payments sector as they undertake a significant transformation programme.

They are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Change Management capability to support the discovery and delivery of a new core system and associated process changes.

This role sits at the intersection of business analysis and change, with a strong emphasis on driving adoption across internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery activities for a new system implementation
• Gather, document, and refine business and technical requirements
• Work closely with stakeholders across operations and technology
• Define and support the implementation of new processes
• Drive adoption of new systems and ways of working across teams
• Identify resistance to change and implement practical mitigation strategies
• Support testing, release planning, and phased delivery
• Contribute to migration planning and execution
• Produce clear documentation and support training activities

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within transformation programmes
• Strong experience in Change Management and driving adoption
• Experience with system replacement, migration, or process transformation
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across the business
• Comfortable operating in structured delivery environments
• Strong communication and facilitation skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience within financial services, payments, or regulated environments
• Exposure to operationally focused teams and process heavy environments

This is a transformation led role, not necessarily a traditional BA position. The programme is currently in the discovery phase, with delivery through 2026.
