Data & Process Lead

Job Title: Business Data & Process Lead EP&MR

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Cambridge, ENG

PayScale/ Rate: £ 480-580/ Daily/ Outside IR35

Typical Accountabilities:

Support the Global R&D deployment workstream, ensuring adherence to project timelines and objectives
Develop and maintain a clear roadmap addressing both immediate priorities and long-term goals.
Establish solid understanding of the technology landscape and analyse existing processes to identify the gaps and opportunities using previous working experience/knowledge.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (including GPPM, finance, IT and Axial teams) to capture their requirements and integrate them into the project scope, defining the relevant end-to-end business processes and data flows.
Translate business needs into clear, structured requirements for technical teams.
Support technical ideation, development and build, including:
Alignment on control records, entity relationships, and persistent identifiers for key data elements
Working with data product owners to define data products, including source-to-target mappings and required transformations
Supporting SIT, UAT, and change management activities to ensure smooth delivery into production
Lead workshops and meetings to collect feedback and devise appropriate action plans.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Essential Qualifications:

Considerable experience and exposure to business systems, data platforms (e.g. Snowflake), and those specific to R&D e.g. Planisware (PLANIT)
Experience in ERP transformation and Business Improvement, using SAP/ experience in technical data roles
Strong business analysis experience and knowledge of analytics.
Ability to lead across geographies and cultures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline
