Job Title: Business Data & Process Lead EP&MR

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Cambridge, ENG

PayScale/ Rate: £ 480-580/ Daily/ Outside IR35

Typical Accountabilities:

  • Support the Global R&D deployment workstream, ensuring adherence to project timelines and objectives
  • Develop and maintain a clear roadmap addressing both immediate priorities and long-term goals.
  • Establish solid understanding of the technology landscape and analyse existing processes to identify the gaps and opportunities using previous working experience/knowledge.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (including GPPM, finance, IT and Axial teams) to capture their requirements and integrate them into the project scope, defining the relevant end-to-end business processes and data flows.
  • Translate business needs into clear, structured requirements for technical teams.
  • Support technical ideation, development and build, including:
  • Alignment on control records, entity relationships, and persistent identifiers for key data elements
  • Working with data product owners to define data products, including source-to-target mappings and required transformations
  • Supporting SIT, UAT, and change management activities to ensure smooth delivery into production
  • Lead workshops and meetings to collect feedback and devise appropriate action plans.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Considerable experience and exposure to business systems, data platforms (e.g. Snowflake), and those specific to R&D e.g. Planisware (PLANIT)
  • Experience in ERP transformation and Business Improvement, using SAP/ experience in technical data roles
  • Strong business analysis experience and knowledge of analytics.
  • Ability to lead across geographies and cultures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Regulatory experience, e.g. GxP, SOx.
  • Bio-Tech, Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences experience.
  • Experience in large scale, complex & multi-year projects.
  • Workshop Management.
