EPR Test Analyst

Job summary

The role of the Test Analyst is to support software quality assurance by collaborating with colleagues and suppliers to identify, manage, and resolve issues. The Test Analyst will adhere to testing standards, whilst ensuring the timely completion of test cycles, as well as assisting in test planning and case preparation for both BAU and project work.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Test Analyst to join our EPR Programme Team. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Test Analyst to play a key role in ensuring our EPR system is safe, reliable and ready for go-live.

This is an fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of a large-scale digital transformation programme, collaborating with clinicians, digital teams and system suppliers. As a Test Analyst you will helping to ensure the system is safe, usable, secure and robust prior to implementation.

Job description

Job responsibilities

To analyse, manage and resolve any issues or failures found within the software by working with the Test Lead, Project Managers and with the supplier.

To adhere to the local Test Specification, as well as standards and processes laid out by the Test Lead.

Ensure that the testing cycles completes within the required timeframes for release.

Assist the Test Lead with the planning and preparation for testing a new piece / version of software.

Develop and maintain means of recording and managing defects and issues arising from testing and produce reports on this information for the Test Lead.

Assist in the preparation and localisation of test cases, by ensuring full coverage of deployment units / areas of work in the test cases produced for both BAU and Projects

Identify dependencies and pre-requisites.

Quality Assurance (QA) - test digital solutions to confirm it meets requirements, including e.g., business processes, reporting, printing, interfaces, devices, performance, and messaging etc.

Have a good understanding of requirements and produce documentation in relation to test cases.

Develop and maintain means of recording and managing defects and issues arising from testing and produce reports on this information for the Test Lead.

Experience

Essential
  • Substantial knowledge and experience of healthcare information, systems, pathways, and protocols
  • Experience working with Excel and other Microsoft applications
  • Previous experience in Oracle EPR testing
