Position: Enterprise Architect

Location: Dublin

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Architect to serve as a crucial link between our Microsoft partner and end users. Our client has acquired numerous companies, and we need someone to sort out the chaos. 

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design and Implementation:

  • Collaborate with Microsoft partners to design and implement scalable, efficient enterprise solutions.
  • Ensure solutions meet end-user requirements and align with strategic business goals.
  • Oversee the integration of Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Microsoft 365, and Dynamics 365.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the Microsoft partner and end users.
  • Understand and translate end-user needs into technical requirements.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders.

Architecture Development:

  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks and standards.
  • Document current and future state architectures.
  • Advocate for best practices in architecture design and implementation.

Vendor and Partner Management:

  • Evaluate and select appropriate solutions from Microsoft partners.
  • Manage relationships with partners to ensure service level agreements are met.
  • Conduct regular reviews to assess partner performance and alignment with business needs.

Risk and Change Management:

  • Identify potential risks in solution architectures and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Implement change management processes to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on emerging Microsoft technologies and industry best practices.
  • Foster an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, preferably with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Dynamics 365.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with vendor and partner management.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • TOGAF certification is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise architecture.
