Position: Enterprise Architect
Location: Dublin
Overview: We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Architect to serve as a crucial link between our Microsoft partner and end users. Our client has acquired numerous companies, and we need someone to sort out the chaos.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design and Implementation:
- Collaborate with Microsoft partners to design and implement scalable, efficient enterprise solutions.
- Ensure solutions meet end-user requirements and align with strategic business goals.
- Oversee the integration of Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Microsoft 365, and Dynamics 365.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the Microsoft partner and end users.
- Understand and translate end-user needs into technical requirements.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
Architecture Development:
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks and standards.
- Document current and future state architectures.
- Advocate for best practices in architecture design and implementation.
Vendor and Partner Management:
- Evaluate and select appropriate solutions from Microsoft partners.
- Manage relationships with partners to ensure service level agreements are met.
- Conduct regular reviews to assess partner performance and alignment with business needs.
Risk and Change Management:
- Identify potential risks in solution architectures and develop mitigation strategies.
- Implement change management processes to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on emerging Microsoft technologies and industry best practices.
- Foster an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, preferably with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Dynamics 365.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with vendor and partner management.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies.
- TOGAF certification is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise architecture.
