Cloud Architect

Insight Global is looking for a fully remote Azure Cloud Architect to join a large financial services institution for a contract that will go until the end of the year. This would be a fully remote position in the UK.

In this role, you will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand customer requirements and priorities, leading architectural design sessions to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant Azure infrastructure solutions across multiple divestment projects.

Targeting following skillsets:

• Cloud Architect focused on Azure.
• Experience with Databricks as a data management orchestration tool and Azure Data Factory
• Experience with on prem data storage.
• Experience operating in highly regulated industry, e.g. Financial Services.
• Experience and understanding of large-scale infrastructure deployments in enterprise-wide environments required.
• Success in consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills as well as stakeholder management experience.
• Experience of working with Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD) and continuous testing techniques and tools with knowledge/awareness of TerraForm.
• Experience in working in a global cross functional service management team.
• Industry recognized Azure cloud architect certification.
• Experience dealing with IT Audit, Security and Risk.
