Head of AI Solutions
In this role, the Head of AI Solutions will take full ownership of the client's AI strategy and delivery, overseeing both supply and vendor management and AI advocacy across the organisation.
The day to day responsibilities will include identifying high value AI opportunities, evaluating business processes and customer journeys, conducting feasibility assessments and ROI analysis and shaping a clear, prioritised AI roadmap aligned with strategic goals. They will act as the solution architect for AI programmes, ensuring chosen tools meet business, technical and governance requirements while collaborating with engineers, technology teams and external partners to guide design, implementation and deployment.
This position will be a full-time permanent position, where you will be expected to follow a hybrid schedule (3x weekly onsite).
Targeting the following skillsets:
- Strong character, resilience and a proven ability to handle difficult or dissatisfied customers.
- Experience implementing KPIs and driving accountability within teams.
- Solid technical background with hands on delivery of real AI solutions such as Copilot or Gemini in a business environment.
- Understanding of software engineering, data engineering and how AI integrates with business systems.
- Experience managing external suppliers and shaping an internal AI structure or capability.
- Ability to propose implementation approaches and determine how hands on they need to be based on scope.
- Strong stakeholder management experience, including presenting to senior leaders and influencing across a matrix environment.
- At least one significant, recent end to end AI delivery project.
- Thick skin, strong communication skills and confidence when facing pushback or competing priorities.
- Someone who was technical earlier in their career and has moved into a management or ownership role.
