Key accountabilities

• Design computer networks, including local/wide area networks (LANs/WANs) and intranets.
• Compare and recommend the network hardware, such as routers, switches, Access Points and firewalls.
• Research and implement network software, such as monitoring applications.
• Work closely with the IT team and Business Support teams to align network design with organizational goals.
• Design and integrate VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) and other telecommunications systems.
• Mentor and Supervise IT team members in network setup & configuration.
• Possess abundant soft skills, such as critical thinking, verbal & written communication
• Continuously evaluate emerging network technologies to maximize performance, security & efficiency.
• Periodically test and evaluate network performance and adjust and redesign network where applicable.
• In addition to designing and installing new systems, Network Architects are also responsible for upgrading components in existing networks. They might install new routers, switches, security software or other parts to improve the operation of a system.
• Network Architects continually monitor networking systems and make necessary adjustments and minor repairs to keep these systems operating smoothly.
• Network Administrator, Network Architect, CCNA, CCNP, Network Design, Wan, Routers.

Skills

• Strong knowledge on VPN technologies.
• Strong knowledge on Overlay and Underlay network design and implementation.
• Strong knowledge on Next Generation Network Access Control design and implementation.
• N/w architecture experience in cloud environment.
• Experience on Security technologies like Firewall, DDoS, Proxy, Gateway, Web Application Firewall, SSL/IPSec, Two Factor authentication, Network Forensic & Threat Intelligence.
• In-depth understanding of communication technologies like wireless, mobile applications and telecommunications systems.
• In-depth hands-on experience with network hardware - Fortinet firewall, Juniper router & switches.
• Cisco router & Switches knowledge.
• Strong technical ability to troubleshoot and solve highly complex IP networks and hardware problems.
• In-depth and hands on experience in complex LAN/WAN architecture and troubleshooting.
• In-depth working knowledge and troubleshooting of IP routing and network protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, spanning tree, multicast etc.)

Experience

8-15 years’ experience in field of Network/ DC environment.
