We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst who can operate at the intersection of product and delivery. This is not just a requirements-gathering role — it is an embedded product delivery role. You will own the translation of product thinking into clear, actionable specifications that a development team can build from without ambiguity.

You will work directly with the Product Lead, engineers, and AI specialists to shape and document how product grows. You will be proactive, spot gaps before they become blockers, and take pride in writing documentation and stories that are a genuine asset to the team.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery and documentation

  • Write clear, well-structured user stories with acceptance criteria, edge cases, and definition of done — in a format the engineering team can act on immediately
  • Produce Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) for new features, covering problem statement, user personas, proposed solution, scope, success metrics, and open questions
  • Maintain a living backlog with accurate prioritisation context, so the team always knows what to build next and why
  • Create process flows, data flow diagrams, and system interaction maps to support technical design discussions
  • Document APIs, agent configurations, and data models as features ship, keeping technical documentation up to date

Discovery and proactive analysis

  • Review existing and proactively identify gaps, inconsistencies, or improvement opportunities
  • Synthesise user feedback, usage data, and stakeholder input into clear problem statements and prioritised recommendations
  • Stay close to how AI agents and LLM pipelines behave in production and flag edge cases or failure modes that need addressing
  • Anticipate downstream impacts of changes across the platform and surface dependencies early

Collaboration and communication

  • Act as the connective tissue between product, engineering, and stakeholders — translating business intent into technical precision and back again
  • Support sprint ceremonies: backlog refinement, story walkthrough, and acceptance testing
  • Work with the Product Lead to prepare materials for stakeholder reviews, including feature status summaries and roadmap updates
  • Challenge vague briefs, ask the right questions, and push for specificity before a single line of code is written.

What we are looking for

Essential

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Technical BA in a software product team — ideally B2B SaaS or internal enterprise tooling
  • Strong user story writing skills: you know the difference between a story that ships clean and one that generates five questions in standup
  • Experience writing PRDs or functional specifications that serve as the source of truth for engineering
  • Comfortable working with AI-powered products — you do not need to train models, but you need to understand how prompt-based systems, agents, and knowledge bases behave
  • Able to read and interpret API documentation, data schemas, and basic system architecture diagrams — not to build them, but to document them accurately
  • Sharp communication skills: you simplify complexity, do not pad documents, and write for your audience
  • Proactive by default — you identify problems and bring solutions, rather than waiting to be directed
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence for backlog and documentation management

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Azure infrastructure, CosmosDB, vector databases, or PgVector
  • Experience working with LLM-based features — prompt libraries, agent pipelines, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
  • Background in sales enablement, CRM, or B2B sales tools
  • Exposure to RBAC systems or multi-role product configuration
