Work on technology that directly supports Defence and National Security.
We are looking for an experienced Golang Developer to join a growing engineering team delivering secure digital solutions for UK Defence and National Security programmes. You will work on complex, mission-critical systems where reliability, security and operational impact really matter. Permanent opportunity, salary to £75,000 plus benefits, with hybrid working from Farnborough.
About the roleYou will join a multidisciplinary team of software engineers, architects, platform specialists, infrastructure engineers and delivery professionals.
The role covers the full software development lifecycle, from technical design and development through to testing, deployment and continuous improvement, with a particular focus on building robust and scalable backend services using Golang.
You will also work with engineers using other technologies, so an understanding of how different languages, APIs and services integrate is important.
This is a collaborative and customer-facing environment, so you should be comfortable discussing technical solutions with both engineering teams and stakeholders.
