New Business Sales Executive (CRM Systems)

The New Business Sales Exec plays a crucial role in the sales process. The role is focussed on identifying and qualifying potential leads which will be developed through the full sales cycle with the assistance of the UK Sales Executive Director. This position involves proactive outreach, lead generation, and building initial relationships with prospects. The primary goal is to create a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities to pursue. Responsible for the delivery of an agreed new business quota. Activities and responsibilities of the job function include but, are not limited to:

Lead Generation:

  • Conduct targeted research to identify potential customers and decision makers to find new business opportunities
  • Use various channels (email, phone calls, social media) to generate and qualify leads.
  • Initiate contact with prospects through personalised and effective communication.

Qualification:

  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of the company's products or services.
  • Engage in initial conversations to understand prospect needs, qualify their interest and determine budget.
  • Collaborate with sales management and technical presales to refine customer needs and refine qualification parameters.
  • Disqualify leads that do not meet the criteria to ensure a focused sales effort.

Pipeline Management:

  • Build and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions in the CRM system which equates to 3 times the new business quota.
  • Report on the status of leads and opportunities against agreed quota
  • Prioritize and manage a high volume of leads to ensure a steady flow through the sales funnel.

Sales Cycle Ownership

  • Responsible for the creation and development of new business proposals with input from technical presales and sales management as required
  • Arrange, contribute to and lead new business sales meetings as appropriate
  • Over time manage the full sales cycle from lead creation to closure
  • Maintain long term relationahips with external key stakeholders

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Account Executives, Sales Managers and Technical PreSales to understand sales strategies and priorities.
  • Collaborate with marketing to leverage inbound leads and enhance lead generation efforts.
  • Professional handover to other teams following opportunities being won
