Client
Our client is a leading organisation with a large and complex technical and operational environment. They are looking for an experienced eLearning Developer to join their Technical Learning function and support the development of high-quality digital learning solutions.
The role will sit within a collaborative learning development team and will focus on creating engaging, accessible and effective digital and multimedia learning experiences that support operational training requirements.
Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital Developer to take ownership of learning projects from initial brief through to development, quality assurance and release.
You’ll work closely with Subject Matter Experts and key stakeholders to understand learning requirements, translate complex or technical information into engaging digital learning, and ensure solutions are delivered to a high standard and within agreed timelines.
The role will involve working across a range of digital learning formats, including eLearning, video and graphic-based content, using modern learning technologies and authoring tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review and update digital and multimedia learning solutions
- Work closely with SMEs and stakeholders to shape effective learning experiences
- Translate complex or specialist information into clear, engaging digital learning
- Develop learning content across a range of formats, including eLearning, video and graphic-based materials
- Use digital creation and rapid authoring tools to develop high-quality learning solutions
- Apply structured learning development methodologies throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure learning materials meet agreed design, accessibility and quality standards
- Conduct thorough QA and identify opportunities for improvement before release
- Manage multiple learning projects and competing priorities effectively
- Estimate development effort and support realistic delivery timelines
Essential Experience
- Strong experience in Learning Content Development
- Demonstrable experience developing learning solutions within an L&D or training environment
- Experience developing digital learning across multiple formats, including eLearning, video and graphic-based content
- Strong experience with digital creation and rapid authoring tools, ideally including Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline or Evolve
- Experience working through a structured learning development lifecycle from brief through to final release
- Ability to analyse complex or specialist subject matter and transform it into clear, engaging learning
- Strong design and development skills with excellent attention to detail
- Understanding and practical application of digital accessibility standards
- Strong planning, organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working collaboratively with SMEs and stakeholders at different levels
- A strong focus on quality, continuous improvement and learner experience
