Cardiff, South Wales (hybrid, 2–3 days on-site per week)

Role Overview

We're seeking a. Information & Data Systems Architect for our South Wales client. You’ll own the design, build and roll-out of enterprise systems that keep our the manufacturing process operational and running smoothly. No fluff—just end-to-end delivery of robust, scalable ERP and order-entry solutions that improve data quality, speed up workflows and cut manual effort.

Key Responsibilities
  • ERP & Business Systems

    • Lead configuration, customisation and ongoing development of Microsoft Dynamics CE, F&O and CRM.

    • Maintain product data (BOMs, pricing, configuration rules) and roll out dealer order-entry portals.

  • Process Optimisation

    • Map existing workflows, identify gaps and implement automation to reduce hands-on tasks.

    • Define and track metrics to measure improvements.Microsoft Dynamics CE, F&O, ERP, CRM

  • Integration & Architecture

    • Ensure seamless integration between Dynamics, CE, F&O, ERP, CRM and Eden platforms.

    • Develop and enforce data governance practices to secure a single source of truth.

  • Project Delivery

    • Drive digital transformation initiatives from scoping through to go-live and post-implementation review.

    • Vendor selection support and technical oversight of migrations/upgrades.

  • Training & Support

    • Create and run hands-on training for business users.

    • Act as escalation point for complex system issues; manage change control.

Ideal Experience & Skills
  • Proven track record in an ERP/Systems Architect or senior integration role, ideally within manufacturing 

  • Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, F&O (formerly Finance & Operations) and Dynamics CRM.

  • Strong SQL/T-SQL skills and experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI.

  • Solid grasp of BOMs, parts assemblies and manufacturing data flows.

  • Excellent communicator—able to translate between technical teams, vendors and business stakeholders.

Desirable
  • Formal qualification in computer science, information systems or similar.

  • Exposure to data governance frameworks and compliance standards.

  • Previous consultancy or vendor-management experience.
