I am currently representing a leading global advisory firm that has reached a pivotal inflection point. Their Cyber Advisory practice is well-established and stable, but it has reached a natural plateau. They are now looking for a sophisticated Senior Manager to professionalise their offering and lead the charge into the next phase of growth.
This role is tailor-made for a consultant who enjoys the challenge of taking a maturing team and sharpening their methodology, technical delivery, and market positioning.
The Opportunity
- The practice is ready to move beyond its current steady state. You will be responsible for maturing the delivery models and ensuring the team is equipped for increasingly complex, high-value engagements
- You will own the lifecycle of cyber governance, risk, and advisory projects for a diverse portfolio of high-growth, mid-market clients
- You will be deeply involved in mentoring a dynamic team of technical experts, fostering a culture of delivery excellence
- You will act as the primary bridge between deep technical control assessments (NIST, CIS, ISO) and the client’s C-Suite, providing the clarity they need to make strategic risk decisions
The Ideal Profile
We are looking for a high-calibre professional who is likely feeling constrained in their current environment and looking for more autonomy to shape a practice.
- You have a strong track record in IT Risk or Cyber Advisory within a professional services environment
- You’ll have a technical security background and have matured into broader risk advisory over the last several years
- You are comfortable leading complex gap assessments and technical advisory engagements from inception to final Board reporting
- You hold recognised benchmarks of authority such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC
- You know how to manage people and processes without the need for hierarchy. You are focused on quality, client-centricity, and sustainable growth
