The Role

We're looking for Senior Managers ready to take on ownership of a practice and lead by example with a newly-forming Cyber Advisory team in Birmingham.

As a Senior Manager, your focus shifts from 'doing' to leading and growing. You will oversee a portfolio of engagements, ensuring commercial profitability and strategic alignment. You will be a key deputy to the Partners, helping to shape the Birmingham practice's methodology and market presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management: Oversee multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring high-margin delivery and managing senior stakeholder expectations (CFO/CIO/CISO).
• Business Development: Lead the scoping and proposal process for new Midlands-based opportunities; you are expected to identify add-on value for existing clients.
• Strategic Input: Help refine our service offerings, such as Incident Response readiness, Cloud Security Governance, or Privacy/GDPR advisory.
• People Leadership: Take formal responsibility for the career development, performance management, and recruitment of the regional advisory team.

Candidate Profile

• 7–10+ years of experience in Cyber Advisory, with a proven track record of managing large-scale consulting engagements.
• Commercial acumen—comfortable managing project budgets, utilization rates, and business development targets.
• Expert-level understanding of the cyber threat landscape and the ability to speak fluently to both technical teams and non-technical Boards.
• Significant experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier professional services firm
