Overview:
Our client, a leading Gaming organisation in the UK are growing out their platform teams due to continued growth. We are looking for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join the team.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead the DevOps transformation for the organisation.
- Build and set up new development tools, infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on Cloud Platforms.
- Troubleshoot, and execute virtualization and integration strategies while focusing on security, reliability and scalability of the solution.
- Analyse current architecture and suggest potential enhancements.
- Encourage and build automated processes wherever possible.
- Ensure systems are safe against cybersecurity threats.
- Provide mentorship to developers across the department.
Technical Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a DevOps EngineerDeveloper, with a strong focus on AWS, Terraform, and EKS.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Docker, containerization, and microservices architecture.
- Experience working with Kubernetes
- Experience using and maintaining various CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps or TeamCity.
- Experience deploying software products across multiple platforms.
- Proficient with git and git workflows.
- AWS certifications
- Excellent code design and architecture skills with ability to design and create maintainable systems.
