Project Manager – Cyber Security Projects – Investment Bank - £500 p/day – 6 months

Overview

A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced and delivery-focused Project Manager to join its Cyber Security function. As a Project Manager, you'll oversee the end-to-end delivery of cyber security initiatives such as SIEM and Endpoint protection deployments, ensuring these projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with the organisation's cyber risk strategy. You will work closely with IT, Risk, and Audit teams, as well as external vendors, to ensure secure, compliant, and effective implementation across the enterprise.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage delivery of cyber security projects across multiple workstreams (e.g. SIEM, Endpoint Security).
  • Ensure projects align with financial services regulations and internal risk management frameworks.
  • Define and manage scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (IT, Risk, Audit) and external vendors to ensure successful execution.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including RAID logs, governance packs, and status reports.
  • Oversee testing, validation, and deployment activities to ensure solutions are production ready.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

  • 3-4 years of Project Management experience within financial services or other regulated industries.
  • Proven experience delivering Cyber Security projects (e.g. SIEM, Endpoint, Identity or Network Security).
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, JIRA, and Confluence (or similar tools).
  • Understanding of risk, control, and compliance environments within financial institutions (highly advantageous).

Package:

  • Initial 6 month contract
  • £500 p/day inside IR35
  • Hybrid (2x week in London)
