Trade Floor Support Engineer – Proprietary Trading Firm – London (On-Site) – £60,000 Base Salary + 15% Bonus

A leading proprietary trading firm is seeking a Trade Floor Support Engineer to provide front-line technical support in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment. This is a highly visible role working directly with traders and critical systems.

The Role:

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support to traders and front-office users
• Troubleshoot issues across trading applications, market data, and desktops
• Monitor systems and respond quickly to incidents during trading hours
• Support low-latency trading environments and ensure high availability
• Escalate and coordinate with infrastructure and development teams
• Assist with deployments, upgrades, and system configurations

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in Trade Floor / Desktop / Application Support within financial services
• Strong Windows support and troubleshooting skills
• Exposure to trading systems or market data platforms
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS)
• Basic scripting (PowerShell or Python) beneficial
• Ability to perform under pressure in real-time environments

Package:

• £60,000 base salary
