We're working with a growing AI and technology consultancy that's looking for a Senior Backend Python Developer to play a key role in shaping its technical future.
This is a hands-on backend engineering position with genuine influence, offering the opportunity to work closely with the founders and gradually take ownership of responsibilities currently managed by the technical leadership team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and developing scalable backend systems using Python
- Building APIs, integrations and enterprise-grade software solutions
- Developing cloud-native applications within Azure environments
- Contributing to architecture and technical decision-making
- Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Helping establish engineering best practices as the company grows
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years' commercial backend development experience
- Strong Python development expertise
- Experience building enterprise software applications
- Azure cloud experience
- Strong understanding of API development and backend architecture
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable operating in a senior, autonomous environment
