Data Analyst
Procurement Data Research Analyst
📍 Remote (UK) | 💰 £35,000 to £40,000 | 🎓 Graduate–2 yrs experience
A fast-growing AI platform is building next-generation infrastructure for enterprise procurement teams. The product helps organisations evaluate bids, suppliers and commercial risk with audit-grade accuracy — replacing spreadsheet-driven decision making with structured, explainable intelligence.
We’re hiring a Procurement Data Research Analyst to sit at the core of the platform, translating real-world procurement expertise into high-quality data that underpins AI decision-making.
The Role
This is not a generic data role. You’ll act as a domain specialist, grounding AI outputs in real procurement logic and ensuring everything built is accurate, explainable and enterprise-ready.
You’ll:
- Work directly with clients and internal teams to understand how procurement decisions are made
- Research, structure and validate procurement, supplier and pricing data
- Define what data matters, how it should be used, and why
- Ensure data accuracy, relevance and audit-readiness
- Translate manual scoring frameworks and decision heuristics into structured logic
- Validate AI outputs as part of a human-in-the-loop (HITL) process
What We’re Looking For
Open on background, but domain exposure is key.
Strong candidates will have:
- A top-tier academic background (graduates or 0–2 years’ experience, up to 3 considered)
- Exposure to procurement, sourcing, ERP or supply-chain data
- SAP experience (S/4HANA and/or Ariba) — certification strongly preferred
- High attention to detail and analytical rigour
- Comfort working with messy, real-world data and improving it
- Ability to explain why data is structured in a particular way
Tools & Skills
- SAP S/4HANA / SAP Ariba
- Azure (data platforms, pipelines, cloud environments)
- Data validation, QA and reporting
Why This Role
- Ownership of a mission-critical function within an AI product
- Exposure to explainable, audit-grade AI systems
- Close collaboration with technical and commercial stakeholders
- Fully remote working
- Clear progression as the platform scales
Compensation & Process
- £35k depending on experience (exceptional graduates considered)
