📍 Location: UK (Hybrid / Remote)

💰 Salary: £45,000 – £70,000 (DOE)

📈 Experience: 1–5 years (must include gambling/iGaming data experience)

🧠 Overview

We are seeking a Data Scientist with prior experience working with gambling or iGaming data to join a growing analytics function. This role focuses on leveraging player, trading, and transactional datasets to drive commercial performance, risk management, and responsible gambling initiatives.

⚠️ Candidates must already have hands-on exposure to sportsbook, casino, or betting data environments, as domain understanding is essential to success in this position.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Build predictive models using player and betting data
• Analyse player behaviour, retention, churn, and lifetime value (LTV)
• Support trading, pricing, and performance analytics
• Develop fraud detection and risk models
• Deliver insights to product, trading, and commercial teams
• Work with high-volume transactional and real-time datasets
• Design and analyse A/B tests and experiments

✅ Required Experience (Essential)

• 🎰 1–5 years’ Data Science / Analytics experience within gambling or iGaming
• Experience working with sportsbook, casino, or betting datasets
• 🐍 Strong Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
• 🗄️ Advanced SQL and large dataset querying
• 📊 Statistical modelling & machine learning
• Player behaviour or betting analytics exposure
• 💬 Strong stakeholder communication skills

• Odds modelling or trading analytics
• Responsible gambling / player risk analytics
• Fraud, AML, or transaction monitoring models
