We're hiring a Senior IT Operations Engineer to join a high-impact team supporting the performance and reliability of real-time trading infrastructure. This is a hands-on role in a low-latency environment where milliseconds matter—and where your expertise can directly influence market data delivery and trade execution at scale.

You'll be working with cutting-edge observability tooling and complex distributed systems, helping to ensure uptime, optimise performance, and troubleshoot across the full tech stack—from the network layer through to application metrics.

This role is ideal for an engineer with strong infrastructure and networking experience, particularly in trading, market data, or similarly demanding environments. You'll bring a problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for systems that operate at speed.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Real-time performance monitoring and telemetry systems
• Troubleshooting network and systems-level issues across trading infrastructure
• Enhancing observability with custom tooling and integrations
• Collaborating closely with infrastructure, DevOps, and engineering teams

Key Tech Stack

• Linux (CentOS/RHEL), Bash, Python
• Network protocols and analysis tools (tcpdump, Wireshark, Corvil)
• Kafka, Postgres (TimeScaleDB), ElasticSearch
• Time-series monitoring platforms : InfluxDB, Grafana, Kapacitor, Telegraf
