Overview

I’m working with a well-established MSP looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to deliver 3rd-line support and lead infrastructure projects across a diverse client base. Ideal for someone with solid MSP experience who enjoys fast-paced, varied work and direct client interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd-line escalation support across servers, networking, cloud, and security.
• Lead infrastructure projects (server migrations, virtualisation, Azure, network upgrades).
• Work directly with clients to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to improving technical processes.

Technical Requirements

• Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy.
• Virtualisation (Hyper-V and/or VMware).
• Microsoft Azure (Azure AD, VMs, Storage, Security).
• Networking fundamentals: VLANs, subnetting, VPNs, routing/switching.
• Firewall experience (Fortinet, WatchGuard, Palo Alto, Juniper, etc.).
• Backup/DR tools (Veeam, Acronis, etc.).
• SAN/NAS experience (Dell, Synology preferred).
• MSP background strongly preferred.
