FPGA Engineer
A well-established technology consultancy is looking to strengthen its digital hardware capability with the addition of an FPGA Engineer. The team works on a broad mix of technically challenging programmes spanning wireless communications, aerospace systems, and next-generation network technologies.
You'll be joining a multidisciplinary environment where projects range from concept development through to fully realised systems. Working in small, high-calibre teams, you'll contribute to architecture, FPGA implementation, and hardware integration across a variety of applications.
In this role, you'll take part in shaping system designs, developing and verifying RTL, and delivering high-performance FPGA solutions. You'll collaborate closely with software, RF, DSP, and systems engineers, gaining exposure to complex, real-world engineering challenges while influencing technical direction on projects.
They are looking for an FPGA Engineer with the following background:
Proven experience in FPGA or ASIC design and verification
RTL coding in Verilog or SystemVerilog
Familiarity with Vivado or Quartus and timing closure
Understanding of system-level design and high-speed electronics
Strong academic background in Engineering, Physics, or a related field
Experience with DSP, RF systems, or mentoring would be beneficial.
