Senior Analog IC Design Engineer - flexible hybrid

Based in Southampton, our scaling Semiconductor client is seeking a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer to join them. This role offers a lot of flexibility in terms of hybrid work – you could be onsite once a fortnight if needed. In this role, you'll be designing the analog circuits that enable a new class of ultra-low-power optical interconnects for AI systems. It's a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of high-speed analog, photonics, and advanced CMOS while influencing the architecture of a potentially disruptive technology. As a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer you will own the complete IC development flow, from circuit design and verification through silicon evaluation, characterization, and testing, and contribute to IC tape-outs and product commercialization. As a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer, you will bring: A Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering or similar Established experience in analog circuit design from specs to architecture, design, bench testing, all the way to high volume production A deep understanding of analog, mixed-signal and RF circuit design in deep submicron CMOS technology High speed design experience would be desirable, however not 100% essential An ability to learn quickly, contribute and work well with team members A strong basic salary and bonus is on offer, plus relocation assistance if needed.
