Systems Analysis & Simulation Engineer
An exciting opportunity for a Systems Analysis & Simulation Engineer has arisen with an innovative space connectivity start-up developing next-generation laser communications technology, based in Oxford.
As a Systems Analysis & Simulation Engineer, you will play a key role in developing simulation and analysis tools that optimise optical Space-to-Ground communication links and services. You will develop sophisticated models, analyse large datasets, and improve network performance through advanced simulation, helping to shape the future of global connectivity.
The is a hybrid role, requiring you onsite 3 days a week.
Experience of the Systems Analysis & Simulation Engineer will include:
At least 3 years' commercial experience in systems analysis, modelling and/or simulation
Experience developing complex models and simulations using MATLAB
Experience developing, testing and analysing empirical datasets
Strong data processing and analysis skills, including handling large datasets efficiently
MATLAB and Python programming experience
Desired: Experience with satellite communications or optical/laser communications
