Lead Front End Engineer

Front End Tech Lead (hands on) with a passion for code (REACT), best practise, leading with what quality engineering looks like and a love for empowering others is sought after!

Leading 4 software engineers and playing a key part in the delivery of cutting-edge products, this suits those who are technically brilliant and passionate across React/React Native & JavaScript on the Front End and are advocates of quality engineering: Microservices, DDD, Event driven architecture etc. This will look loosely like 70% hands on 30% leadership.

Remote working (UK) with once a month in person team collaboration day at their London HQ,

Tech stack is react/react native/typescript, modern applications, Node, AWS, Microservices, Next.JS.

£85-90k base salary, a bonus, 10% pension, 30 days holiday (plus bank holidays), healthcare plus much more on offer.

*What you'll do.*

Lead and deliver highly ambiguous, business-critical technical projects

Drive architectural decisions and engineering practice improvements

Plan and execute safe rollouts of major system changes

Identify and address potential technical issues before they cause problems

Contribute strategically to team and business area roadmaps

Create opportunities for other engineers to grow and develop

Balance multiple priorities across engineering, operations, and regulation

Drive system quality improvements while levelling up others

Ensure technical decisions align with business objectives by collaborating with product representatives
