Office Administrator
Salary: £13.22 per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the Role
We are looking for an organised, reliable and detail-focused Office Administrator to join our clients Operations team.
This is a varied administrative role, supporting the day-to-day running of the business. You will work closely with the Operations team and provide essential administrative support across invoicing, purchasing, customer communication, records and general office activities.

Key Responsibilities- Complete daily customer invoicing using the Navision system.
- Raise purchase orders using the AX system.
- Prepare, maintain and file Import and Export documentation.
- Manage Export Control and IPR documentation in line with internal procedures.
- Assist with VAT Intrastat figures and submissions to Head Office.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and direct enquiries to the appropriate department.
- Act as a first point of contact for customer enquiries and inbound communications.
- Prepare and manage emails, memos, reports, records and quotations.
- Support the Sales Ledger, including month-end processes and reconciliation of order costs against quotations.
- Maintain accurate attendance records.
- Order stationery and ad-hoc office consumables.
- Maintain effective filing and archiving systems.
- Provide general administrative support to the Operations team.
- Help maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment in line with 5S standards.
- Promote a strong Health & Safety first culture throughout the workplace.
- Carry out other reasonable administrative duties as required.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Previous experience in a similar administrative role.
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- A professional and helpful approach when dealing with customers and colleagues.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to support the wider Operations team.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of Health & Safety and workplace organisation.
