Warehouse Goods Receipt Operative (Ops2) – Contract

Must have SAP experience 


Location: Hatfield Business Park
Contract Duration: 6 months rolling contract 
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00  and 11- 1900pm 
Hours per Week: 37.5

Pay Rates
  • Umbrella: £18.27 per hour

  • PAYE: £14.08 basic

We are seeking a Warehouse Goods Receipt Operative to join our Services Logistics Warehouse team on a full-time, rolling contract basis.

This role requires a high level of accuracy, strong attention to detail, and a proactive work ethic. Experience with ERP systems is essential, with SAP and WMCS knowledge highly desirable.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment where teamwork, communication, and the ability to meet service level agreements (SLAs) are key to success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Book in repair orders, purchase order receipts, and advanced warranty exchanges using SAP

  • Raise transfer orders for stock additions

  • Use scanning tools to process and close workshop returns

  • Close repair orders accurately and efficiently

  • Monitor and clear SAP queues

  • Check and reconcile delivery collections against outbound delivery (OBD) documentation (electronic and manual manifests)

  • Use courier platforms to track shipments and expected order volumes

  • Create manifests for internal stock movements between warehouses

  • Correctly identify parts and materials

  • Communicate effectively with internal service providers via Outlook

  • Follow escalation procedures where required (oral and electronic communication)

  • Maintain high housekeeping standards within a 6S environment

Skills & Experience
  • Previous warehouse experience essential

  • Strong ERP system experience (SAP preferred)

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively

  • Comfortable working to performance targets and SLAs

  • Strong communication skills

  • Good numerical ability

  • Flexible and adaptable approach

  • Reliable with excellent timekeeping

  • Quick learner and effective team player
