Head of International Data Licensing and Sales

We are looking for a Head of International Data Licensing and Sales to leverage a significant business opportunity within a recently established company. This venture is supported by International Consumer Research & Testing (ICRT) and its member organisations, including Which? in the UK, Test-Achats in Belgium, Consumentenbond in the Netherlands, UFC-Que Choisir in France alongside other ICRT members from a global network of over 25 organisations.

In this London-based role you will be instrumental in shaping our future. You will define marketing, sales, and pricing strategies, and build a small but high-performing sales team in delivering global sales targets. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, you will be at the forefront of a business that licenses rich, independent consumer product test data to global consumer goods manufacturers, helping them to create higher quality products and ultimately empowering consumers worldwide.

Your Role

  • Ability to rapidly acquire and leverage in-depth knowledge of the new venture and the technical data derived from rigorous consumer product testing.
  • Must have knowledge of product development within a manufacturing context.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers, and deeply understand their needs to develop strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues developing a data tool tailored to customer requirements.
  • Recruit, motivate and manage high-performing Sales Agents fostering a culture of success and delivery.
  • Develop and implement a customer segmentation model and a strategic price tiering framework.
  • Lead the development and negotiation of robust contractual terms and conditions with clients.
  • Craft and execute a compelling Go-To-Market strategy for our innovative data licensing business.
  • Achieve clear milestones within the first 6 months by identifying, negotiating, and closing agreements.

Your Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in international sales ideally selling licensing or in the large consumer goods sector.
  • Proven record in developing successful B2B segmentation models, pricing and tiering strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience in hiring and effectively leading sales teams.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and a team player who contributes positively to a dynamic environment.
  • Highly structured, organised, and adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in a second business-level language (e.g., Japanese, Chinese, Korean, German, or French) is an advantage.
  • Willingness and desire to travel internationally, complementing frequent online meetings.
  • Higher degrees combining Business Administration and Technical (e.g. Manufacturing or data science) degrees.
