Senior Infrastructure Engineer Urgent

Our client is large organisation with over 5000 staff and are urgently seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our Head Office team in Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer with a strong on-premises infrastructure background who’s also comfortable working across modern cloud technologies. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and evolving our hybrid environment — managing Windows Server, Active Directory, and VMware platforms, while supporting our growing Azure and Microsoft 365 ecosystems. A strong understanding of networking, including firewalls, routers, and SAN storage, is essential. You’ll also have the opportunity to work with technologies such as Entra ID, Intune, Logic Apps, PowerShell, and Dynamics 365 Business Central, driving innovation and performance improvements across our infrastructure. We’re looking for someone who’s hands-on, technically curious, and always keen to learn. You’ll ideally hold the experienced in Azure and additional credentials such as CCNA/CCNP or Network+ would be an advantage but essential. In return, you’ll join a forward-thinking IT team where your expertise will make a real impact. You’ll be supported to develop your technical skills, take ownership of complex challenges, and contribute to continuous improvement across the business.
