Senior Software Engineer opportunity - Up to 80k - Chester - Financial Services ECOM are delighted to have teamed up with a leading financial services organisation on their search for a Senior Engineer. Our client are building cutting edge software that digitalises the customer journey when it comes to online banking for a customer base of over 25 million. The team is ever expanding and as a result are looking for the best in class when it comes to frontend engineering. Key Responsibilities: Be a key figure throughout the SDLC by designing, building and delivering resilient software systems Work with the wider business to deliver solutions at pace Champion new technologies across the group Participate in Scrum ceremonies The Ideal Candidate: Extensive experience with frontend technologies (React, JavaScript, Typescript, Redux, HTML5 and CSS3) Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress and Playwright Exposure to CI/CD, Github, Docker, Jenkins and Grafana (a nice to have) Has demonstrated picking up new technologies at speed in the past - although it's a frontend weighted role there may still be times where you'd have to pick up some backend work Benefits Salary up to 80k 15% pension Annual bonus up to 30% Share scheme 30 days annual leave + all bank holidays Generous parental leave policy Optional benefits to suit your lifestyle Free parking on office days This is a hybrid role, with the team working 2 days per week in the office in Chester and 3 days at home per week so please only apply if you are happy with this and are in a commutable distance.
