Automation Engineer - AppViewX & Keyfactor Command- Inside IR35

We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for an experienced Automation Engineer with strong expertise in AppViewX, Keyfactor Command and enterprise certificate life cycle management.

You will develop and enhance automation workflows, integrate AppViewX with Keyfactor Command, and automate certificate and PKI management processes across a large enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and enhance AppViewX automation workflows.

  • Design and implement integrations with Keyfactor Command using REST APIs.

  • Automate certificate provisioning, renewal, revocation and deployment.

  • Develop automation scripts using Python and/or PowerShell.

  • Troubleshoot and optimise workflows, integrations and automation processes.

  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security and application teams to deliver reliable automation solutions.

  • Apply DevOps best practices, including version control, testing and deployment.

  • Produce technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to support teams.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in AppViewX automation and integration.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Keyfactor Command.

  • Solid understanding of PKI and enterprise certificate life cycle management.

  • Strong REST API development and integration skills.

  • Proficiency in Python and/or PowerShell Scripting.

  • Experience in workflow automation and process orchestration.

  • Strong troubleshooting and performance optimisation skills.

  • Familiarity with DevOps and automation best practices.

  • Experience working in large enterprise environments.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Keyfactor EJBCA or other PKI platforms.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.

  • Experience within enterprise IAM and security environments.

  • Knowledge of certificate authorities, HSMs and digital certificates.

  • Experience integrating security platforms with enterprise applications
