Data Privacy Business Analyst
- Strong stakeholder management skills; this individual will need to engage busy stakeholders, unfamiliar with the concept of an IAR. They will also work with colleagues across MoG'd departments to coordinate input and delivery.
- Strong communicating and influencing skills; many stakeholders will need to be informed on the role of an IAO and the value of holding an IAR. The individual will need to be able to influence stakeholders to understand and complete this work under competing priorities.
- Strong organisation and project management skills; whilst formal project management techniques are not required, the individual(s) will need to manage their own delivery timelines, report on progress/blockers and escalate issues in a timely manner to resolve.
- Attention to detail; the individual(s) will be collecting, collating, documenting and organising many meta data fields for hundreds of information assets with possibly hundreds of IAOs and they will need to ensure accurate data recording.
- Data/information management specific knowledge; experience with delivering/working on similar projects on knowledge and information management or data management would be beneficial.
- Familiarity with civil service ways of working; the individual(s) will need to work within a busy, policy setting department where stakeholder diary management can be challenging for fixing meetings. Local priorities in stakeholder spaces can change frequently and being able to adapt and work within this space whilst maintaining a focus on delivery is needed.
