SAP Basis Consultant -Migration

Key Responsibilities

• Support migration of SAP BPC 10.1 (NetWeaver + HANA) from third-party Azure tenant to client-managed Azure environment
• Perform VM/OS readiness, SAP Application Server rebuild, and HANA database migration (backup/restore methodology)
• Configure and validate HANA System Replication (HSR) for DR
• Own Basis Operations: interface management, backup/restore, Kernel and support pack (minor) upgrades, security note application
• Configure and maintain system monitoring, alerting, and technical diagnostics
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and performance testing (Basis layer), driving defect resolution
• Prepare and execute cutover plans, lead technical validation, and provide Go-Live/hypercare support

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Basis administration (NetWeaver, HANA DB)
• Prior experience migrating SAP systems to Microsoft Azure (lift-and-shift preferred)
• Familiarity with SAP BPC 10.1 landscape considered a strong plus
• Experience with HANA System Replication, Azure Backup/Site Recovery
• Ability to work UK business hours and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Cloud Infra, Functional BPC, client stakeholders)
