Role Purpose

As Head of Marketing, you will lead and scale the company’s marketing function, owning the full marketing strategy and execution. You will work closely with Sales, Product, and the wider leadership team to drive awareness, generate demand, and support revenue growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role: you will set the strategy and vision for marketing but also be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to deliver impactful campaigns and content. The ideal candidate will bring experience in software/SaaS marketing, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of how marketing can fuel company growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the global marketing strategy aligned to company goals
  • Lead the execution of demand generation, digital marketing, content marketing, community engagement, PR, events, and partner marketing
  • Develop and refine product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences
  • Work closely with the Sales team to generate pipeline and optimise lead conversion
  • Own marketing KPIs, report on performance, and continuously improve based on insights
  • Lead and mentor a growing marketing team (in-house and external resources)
  • Build marketing automation and digital infrastructure for scale
  • Develop content strategies that engage the target audience and drive brand leadership
  • Manage PR and communications to maintain a strong industry reputation
  • Plan and execute industry events and webinars to increase awareness and drive lead generation
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure consistent messaging and strong alignment between Marketing, Sales, and Product
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring ROI from marketing programmes

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role in a software or SaaS business
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution ability
  • Demonstrated success in demand generation, digital marketing, and growth marketing
  • Deep understanding of B2B software markets and developer audiences
  • Proven track record of building brand awareness and driving pipeline growth
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data and metrics to guide decision making
  • Experience managing budgets and marketing performance reporting
  • Familiarity with marketing technology platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, SEO tools, etc.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills — able to work cross-functionally across the company
