Sales Specialist
We’re looking for an experienced Data Centre Sales Specialist to help drive growth in data centre and hybrid cloud solutions across the UK market. You’ll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering technology solutions that help organisations modernise and optimise their infrastructure.
You’ll work closely with our Sales, Solutions, and Vendor teams to create and execute business plans that expand revenue and gross margin across the data centre portfolio. This role is ideal for a motivated, commercially minded individual with a proven track record in enterprise technology sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales and gross margin targets across data centre solutions and services.
- Identify and develop strategic opportunities to grow revenue and profitability.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive lead generation and campaign activity.
- Develop and maintain trusted customer relationships, understanding their business goals and challenges.
- Prepare proposals, manage RFP responses, and support sales processes through to close.
- Engage with vendors and partners to align go-to-market strategies and maximise commercial benefits.
- Support partner forecasting, performance measurement, and quarterly business reviews.
- Continuously analyse market trends to identify emerging opportunities.
Skills and Experience
- Strong understanding of Data Centre and Hybrid Cloud solutions, technologies, and competitive landscape.
- Established relationships within the technology vendor ecosystem.
- Experience in High-Performance Computing (HPC) is desirable.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in the Data Centre or Hybrid Cloud sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding commercial targets.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, particularly in executive-level discussions.
- Highly motivated, confident, and proactive, with strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Experience in complex enterprise technology sales is advantageous.
