Location: Solihull (Hybrid 1-2 days a week)

Salary: Up to £57,500 + Benefits

A Business Analyst is required to join a leading organisation at the heart of the UK's energy sector. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a major transformation programme, working across a range of business and technology initiatives that will help shape the organisation's future. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand challenges, define requirements, and support the delivery of solutions that drive meaningful change.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

  • Analyse, document, and validate business requirements to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and project outcomes.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to gather requirements, define future-state processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Produce key business analysis artefacts including process maps, functional specifications, use cases, and data flow documentation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to evaluate solution options and support successful project delivery.
  • Conduct gap analysis, support business case development, and help identify risks, dependencies, and constraints throughout the project lifecycle.

Additional Experience & Attributes

  • Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within business change, transformation, or technology-led programmes. Will also need to have a good understanding of data.
  • Strong requirements gathering, process modelling, and analytical skills, with experience using tools and methodologies such as BPMN, UML, Agile, and Waterfall.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage individuals at all levels.
  • Experience developing business cases, conducting options appraisals, and translating complex business needs into practical solutions.
  • Professional Business Analysis qualifications and experience within utilities, energy, or highly regulated environments would be advantageous.
