Finance Manager

Finance Manager | High-Growth Tech | £60,000–£75,000 (+ equity) | London (Hybrid)

I’m currently working with a fast-growing, venture-backed tech business that is building financial infrastructure to support cross-border trade in emerging markets.

With strong backing from leading global investors and a distributed international team, the business is scaling quickly and looking to hire a Finance Manager into its London office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, technically strong accountant to take ownership of core financial operations in a high-growth, mission-led environment with real global impact.

The Role:

This position sits at the centre of the finance function and will play a key role in ensuring accurate reporting, strong controls, and scalable processes as the business grows.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll gain exposure to audits, regulatory requirements, and international operations in a complex, multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate management reporting

• Maintain ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

• Support tax compliance and regulatory filings, working with external advisors

• Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring strong controls and accuracy

• Support audit preparation and act as a key contact during audit cycles

• Partner with cross-functional teams (operations, product, commercial) to improve processes

• Drive process improvements to enhance controls, scalability, and efficiency

• Support finance systems work, including potential system migrations and enhancements

What they’re looking for:

• ACA / ACCA

• 4+ years’ experience in accounting or finance roles

• Background in tech, startup, or Top 10 accounting firm preferred

• Strong understanding of month-end, reporting, and financial controls

• Comfortable working with data (Excel / Google Sheets)

• High attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on approach

• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Nice to have:

• Experience with tools such as NetSuite, Xero, or similar systems

• Exposure to multi-currency, FX, or international finance environments

• French speaking
