A full-stack developer is required to join a growing technology business that is transforming vehicle logistics through innovative software and machine learning. This is an exciting opportunity to work on industry-leading route optimisation solutions, helping to build and enhance technology that delivers real-world impact across the automotive sector. Working within a collaborative team, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining optimisation algorithms, supporting cloud-based applications, and contributing across both backend and frontend development.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
- Improve and optimise existing code, ensuring performance and scalability.
- Support machine learning models and optimisation solutions.
- Develop and maintain backend services using .NET and EF Core.
- Contribute to frontend development using JavaScript/TypeScript (Angular, React, Vue.js etc.)
- Support cloud-hosted applications and services within AWS.
- Work closely with stakeholders to deliver effective technical solutions.
- Apply software engineering best practices across development and deployment.
Additional Experience & Attributes:
- Strong .Net and Python development experience within commercial applications.
- Experience with object-oriented programming and software design principles.
- Knowledge of algorithms, optimisation techniques, or mathematical modelling.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Exposure to AWS and cloud-native technologies would be advantageous.
- Experience within logistics, route planning, or optimisation environments is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
