I'm hiring for an exciting Head of Enterprise PMO for a Global Financial Services brand who are embarking on a significant journey to deliver business and technology transformation. My client is looking for seasoned Enterprise PMO professionals who have experience in shaping and directing an Enterprise PMO function, establishing and operating a rigorous, enterprise-wide transformation governance and portfolio management framework that will ensures their Tier 1 and Tier 2 programmes are correctly sized, prioritised, financially disciplined, and delivered in a way that generates measurable, sustainable strategic and financial value aligned to the business strategy.

Key accountabilities:
  • Shape and size the enterprise transformation portfolio
  • Operate and evolve core governance forums
  • Partner with Finance to strengthen capital discipline
  • Ensure disciplined portfolio intake and prioritisation
  • Provide forward-looking portfolio oversight
  • Establish global PMO standards and delivery controls
  • Drive transparent performance and value reporting
  • Embed benefit tracking and financial accountability
Candidates should ensure they have the following criteria before applying:
  • Professional qualification in Programme/Portfolio Management (e.g. MSP, MoP, PRINCE2, PMI) desirable
  • Deep understanding of Product Operating Model ways of working and Governance
  • Deep understanding of enterprise portfolio management and PMO governance frameworks
  • Strong financial acumen including capital allocation, cost management, budgeting, and benefit realisation
  • Knowledge of large-scale transformation delivery within financial services
  • Understanding of regulatory, risk, and control environments
  • Enterprise portfolio sizing and investment modelling
  • Financial benefit realisation and value capture framework design
  • Executive-level reporting and governance forum leadership
  • Risk and dependency management across complex programmes
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability at Executive level
  • Ability to translate strategy into prioritised and financially disciplined execution
  • Scaled Agile ways of working
  • Transition from Waterfall Portfolio Governance to Product Operating Model Governance
  • Significant experience leading PMO or enterprise portfolio functions within complex, multi-country financial services environments
  • Proven track record operating executive governance forums and supporting board-level decision-making
  • Experience partnering with Finance on capital allocation and benefit tracking frameworks
