IT Procurement Manager
We are seeking an experienced IT Procurement Manager to join a forward-thinking construction consultancy. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in IT procurement to take ownership of critical technology acquisition strategies and contribute to the success of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IT procurement strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring optimised cost, quality, and technological advancements.
- Lead end-to-end procurement processes, including market research, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.
- Identify and build relationships with key IT vendors and suppliers, fostering strong partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards throughout the procurement process.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to define IT requirements and deliver innovative, fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Monitor and manage vendor performance to ensure delivery of contractual obligations and service levels.
- Actively stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in IT procurement, ideally within construction, consultancy, or related industries.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with a track record of delivering cost-effective, innovative solutions.
- Experience in managing supplier contracts and ensuring compliance with SLAs.
- Excellent understanding of IT systems, services, and emerging trends.
- Exceptional organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIPS) are advantageous but not essential.

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 (plus potential bonus)
Location: London - 3 days a week (including site visits)
