We are partnering with an innovative, fast-growing VC-backed technology business entering an exciting phase of UK expansion. They are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to play a critical role in delivering high-quality financial risk assessments that support commercial decision-making and customer trust.

This is a unique hybrid role combining technical financial analysis, stakeholder engagement, and operational ownership within a lean, high-growth scale-up environment. You will act as a trusted voice in financial assessment quality, working closely with customers and internal teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and insight-driven outputs.

The Role:

This is a hands-on, end-to-end financial analysis position where you will be responsible for reviewing, validating, and finalising financial assessments used to evaluate subcontractor and supplier risk.

You will act as a key representative of the business, presenting findings directly to customers and ensuring confidence in the outputs delivered. The role also offers exposure to product improvement, process optimisation, and cross-functional collaboration in a scaling startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate financial submissions and assessment outputs for accuracy and completeness
  • Analyse financial statements and corporate structures to identify risk indicators
  • Produce clear, tailored analyst commentary and insights for each assessment
  • Finalise and deliver customer-ready financial risk reports via internal platforms
  • Engage directly with customers to present and explain findings with confidence
  • Act as a key point of contact in resolving complex submission queries
  • Maintain high-quality standards across all assessments in a fast-paced environment
  • Support operational teams and contribute to continuous process improvement
  • Provide input into product development and enhancement initiatives

Essential Background:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA)
  • Strong experience in financial statement analysis, audit, or financial control
  • Ability to interpret UK (and ideally international) financial statements
  • Excellent communication skills with confidence in customer-facing situations
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, VC-backed startup environment
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Exposure to quality assurance, audit, risk, or structured financial environments advantageous
  • This is a high-impact opportunity to join a scaling VC-backed technology business where your analysis will directly influence customer trust, commercial outcomes, and product development.
