Solutions Architect
We're looking for a Solutions Architect (Banking) for our public sector client based in London on an initial 6-month contract, paying up to £900 per day (Inside IR35).
The successful Solutions Architect will be a highly experienced technical leader who can step in and immediately provide deep subject matter expertise across core banking platforms, with a strong emphasis on Sopra Banking Software. You will bridge a critical knowledge gap, challenging supplier proposals, guiding integration activity and ensuring the core banking platform remains robust and aligned to a wider digital and cloud transformation programme.
You will need proven experience working with the following:
- Deep hands-on experience with core banking platforms, ideally Sopra Banking Software (SBS/SOPRA)
- 10 or more years in banking architecture, core banking engineering or solution architecture
- Large scale core banking implementation and system integration programmes
- Event-driven architectures and cloud-native integration models, with AWS experience preferred
- Challenging and directing suppliers and system integrators at a senior level
- Legacy system conversion and end-to-end delivery oversight across build, test and release cycles
- Experience within FinTech or modern digital banking environments
Previous Banking & public sector experience and relevant cloud or architecture certifications would be beneficial.
