SAP Archiving Consultant / ArchitectSalary: Up to £85,000 + Bonus + BenefitsLocation: London or Manchester - Hybrid (3 days per week onsite)Working Hours: 40 hours per week - Full timeJob Type: PermanentA globally established organisation is seeking an experienced SAP Archiving Consultant / Architect to lead the end-to-end archiving strategy across a complex, high-volume SAP landscape.

This role will focus on improving system performance, reducing data growth, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting long-term SAP platform sustainability across ECC and S/4HANA environments.

Responsibilities for the SAP Archiving Consultant / Architect:

  • Own and drive the SAP archiving lifecycle across ECC and S/4HANA systems
  • Design and implement archiving strategies aligned to business, audit and compliance needs
  • Deliver hands-on configuration and execution using SARA, ADK, ArchiveLink and ILM
  • Reduce database growth and improve system performance and storage efficiency
  • Ensure readiness for audit, retention and regulatory requirements
  • Work closely with Basis, Functional, Security and Audit teams
  • Define governance standards, controls and documentation for archiving processes
  • Provide clear guidance to business stakeholders on archiving strategy and impacts

Essential Skills for the SAP Archiving Consultant / Architect:

  • Strong experience in SAP Archiving across ECC and S/4HANA
  • Hands-on knowledge of SARA, ADK and ArchiveLink
  • Experience with OpenText archiving solutions
  • Strong understanding of SAP Basis environments
  • Knowledge of data retention, governance and compliance requirements
  • Experience managing large xehkeey SAP data volumes and performance optimisation

Desirable Skills for the SAP Archiving Consultant / Architect:

  • Experience with SAP ILM
  • Experience with OpenText or similar content management platforms
  • Knowledge of HANA data volume optimisation
  • Experience supporting S/4HANA conversions or migrations
