A globally recognised technology organisation is looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join its team, delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions across complex and highly regulated environments.
The Senior Salesforce Developer is a hands-on development role combining core Salesforce engineering, architecture, integrations and automation with modern Salesforce technologies including Agentforce, Agentic AI and Data Cloud.
You will work across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and Data Cloud, taking technical ownership of scalable Salesforce solutions while collaborating with architects, developers and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities - Senior Salesforce Developer:
- Design and develop enterprise Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and Data Cloud
- Develop scalable applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce and Salesforce Lightning
- Build and support Agentforce and Agentic AI solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem
- Implement Salesforce customisations, workflows, approvals, validation rules, security controls and automation
- Design and develop integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs and Platform Events
- Develop reusable Apex classes, controllers, triggers and framework components
- Build solutions using SOQL, SOSL and dynamic queries
- Implement asynchronous processing using Batch Apex, Queueable Apex and Future Methods
- Write high-quality unit tests and maintain strong code coverage
- Support Salesforce DX and CI/CD processes across application deployments
- Troubleshoot complex Salesforce application, integration and platform issues
- Lead technical delivery across data migration, integrations, custom development and third-party applications
- Work closely with architects, business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to development standards, code reviews and continuous improvement
Essential Skills & Experience - Senior Salesforce Developer:
- Strong hands-on experience delivering enterprise Salesforce solutions
- Strong Salesforce development experience using Apex and Lightning Web Components
- Experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and Data Cloud
- Experience designing and implementing Agentforce and/or Agentic AI solutions
- Strong experience with Salesforce Lightning, LWC, Lightning App Builder and Lightning Design System
- Experience delivering large-scale Experience Cloud implementations
- Strong Salesforce administration, configuration, implementation and development experience
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security models, workflows, validation rules and data management
- Experience developing REST and SOAP API integrations
- Strong knowledge of SOQL and SOSL
- Experience with asynchronous Apex including Batch Apex and Queueable Apex
- Experience with Salesforce DX, CI/CD and deployment tooling
- Experience with Connected Apps and enterprise integration patterns
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Must be eligible to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance
Desirable Skills & Experience - Senior Salesforce Developer:
- Existing active SC Clearance
- Certifications - Salesforce Certified Administrator / Salesforce Sales Cloud / Salesforce Service Cloud / Salesforce Experience Cloud / Salesforce Platform App Builder / Salesforce Certified AI Specialist / Salesforce Platform Developer II
- Experience within the public sector or highly regulated environments
- Experience with Jenkins or similar DevOps tooling
- Strong understanding of enterprise security, governance and compliance
